Open Door Yoga Regular Yoga classes will be replaced with a more comprehensive approach to change beginning March 2010. We all forget parts of ourselves. You can unlearn old habits. My new classes will combine movement, meditation, and Feng Shui to help you become free of pain, physical limitations and suffering. You will work with your bodies, your thoughts and your homes to reflect your true selves. You will begin to notice what is present, clear what you no longer need, write as a means of clearing your thoughts, breathe to relax your nervous system and create freedom of movement and balance. The tools we will be using are: * simple intuitive Feng Shui * relaxed and freeing body movements * meditation through writing and imagery * support from a group experience Here is how it will work. Classes will bring together 3-5 people wanting to work with physical restrictions and pain or wishing to bring new life into their homes through Feng Shui. Classes will come together every three weeks for 2 hours. The first hour will be full of easy movement and breathing. The second hour will combine meditation with learning the basics of Feng Shui. During the break between classes you will have homework or work with your home and your self. You can choose one room in your home to focus on and we will work through clutter clearing, placement, balancing the elements, colour, and the bagua map. At the same time you will be encouraged to develop a simple movement and meditation home practice. During the off weeks we will keep in contact through email or telephone to help you keep on track and to answer questions that come up during the process. Classes will begin in March and run through to the end of June. Class Dates: Wednesdays March 10, 31, April 21, May 12, June 2, 23.
